Online Auction of Surplus Movable Property – October 18-22

The U.S. Embassy in Accra is holding a virtual auction of surplus movable property this year. Lots will be available to bid on for one week, starting October 18 and ending October 22. The auction website is available 24 hours a day. Each lot will have clearly stated the maximum and minimum bids as well as the maximum and minimum amount a lot can be raised. Be sure to watch the progress of the lots you have bid on to be aware of other bidders. At the end of the auction, the participant with the highest bid will be the winner and will receive an email confirming this.

If you are the highest bidder at the end of the auction you will receive an email with a link to view the lots that you won. Please remember that once you place a bid on a lot you cannot undo it. Winners who fail to make prompt payment according to the instructions on the auction website will be blocked from participation in future auctions.  If the winner with the highest bid fails to pay within two working days, the U.S. Embassy reserves the right to award the lot to the next highest bidder or reserve the lot for inclusion in the next auction.
